At Christ Church, we care deeply about children. Our staff and volunteer leaders are committed to creating a safe place where your child can grow and develop spiritually.  
 
This commitment goes beyond Sunday morning--we are also committed to supporting and equipping you to nurture your child into a loving relationship with the Lord through monthly resources and family events throughout the year.

YOUR FIRST VISIT
Our greeters will direct you to the check-in kiosk where each child will receive a name tag. Our nursery is available for babies through 3 years old. Children ages 4 years old through 5th grade, are invited to worship with their family for the opening time of worship music. We believe that children learn to worship by being a part of worship with the body of Christ.
 
Following the songs of praise, children are invited to stand for a prayer of blessing and then proceed to their classrooms with the Kids Connect volunteers where they learn the Word of God in creative, age-appropriate ways.
 
During the Peace (a break in our service before communion starts), the children are brought back in to the service by Kids Connect volunteers so that families can receive communion together.
 
Each of our volunteers have been through a national background check to ensure your child’s safety.

SUNDAY MORNING
The nursery is for babies – 3 years. Nursery is available throughout the service. Feel free to pick up your child before communion or at the conclusion of the service. In order to check out your nursery age child, you will need to present your check out tag to the nursery worker.
 
After the prayer of blessing, Preschoolers – 5th graders gather together to participate in a church experience tailored just for them. This time is designed to help them learn the basics of an adult worship service, including Welcome, Worship, Scripture Reading, Lesson, Creed, Prayer, and Offering by crafting the time together in the ways children learn best; through fun and relationship. Kids Connect seeks to connect children to God, to each other and to adults in their lives in order that they might be life-long disciples of Jesus.
