For both our Community Life Group and the Christ Church worship team, I want to continue to encourage you to keeping digging into the Word of God. Whether you do the Ephesian's Bible study or are reading somewhere else in the Word of God, I encourage you to dig in.
This is our 4th and final week of study in the book of Ephesians. If you have been keeping up with this study, I'd love to hear what God has been teaching you. If you haven't started it yet or took a break, you can restart at any time.
As I have stated before, I believe that a major key to spiritual vitality is regular reading and meditating upon God's Word. So if you are not already reading elsewhere in the Bible, I encourage you to dive in to this study of Ephesians. Download and print it out. Begin with prayer asking the Holy Spirit to give you clarity as you read. Then with pen in hand begin to mark it up and write thoughts and questions in the margin. After spending time reading, underlining, circling, and making notes in the passage for the day, answer the questions at the end of each passage.
Grace and Peace,
If you are not currently regularly reading in Scripture, I encourage you to get into a study in Ephesians. Download week 1 and go from there. Spiritual sustenance, renewal, and revival is always coupled with regular study of God's Word (Psalm 119:9-16). If you have been keeping up with this study, here is the latest download. I'd love to hear what God is teaching you through His Word.
Here is the download for week 2 of our Ephesians study. If you aren't reading the Bible regularly, I really, really, really want to encourage you to read Ephesians with us this summer. God wants to speak to you!
This summer, I would like to encourage both our Community Life Group and the worship team to read through the book of Ephesians. I believe that daily consistent time in God's Word is the key to Spiritual vitality and growth.
Below is the download for week 1. There are 5 readings for the week each followed by reflection questions. Begin each reading with prayer asking the Lord to give you wisdom and understanding as you read His Word. You are encouraged to print out the attached PDF file so that you can circle, underline, highlight, and answer questions as you meditate upon each days passage. The first couple readings for this week are from the book of Acts. This is to help give you some background on the history and cultural climate in Ephesus.
As the Lord speaks to you through His Word, feel free to post your insights, reflections, break-throughs, and questions to this blog page.
